Stephen R "Rich" France, 82, formerly of Lititz, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018. Born in Berwyn, IL, he was the son of the late Emily (Trojka) and Stephen France. He was preceded in death by his sisters Louise Naughton and Shirley Woyt.

Rich was very proud to serve his country in the US Army. He received his bachelors degree from Illinois State University and his masters degree in mathematics from Notre Dame. He was a math and computer science professor at Millersville University for over 35 years.

He enjoyed being a member of the Lititz Ambucs club for many years and participated in many of their musical performances. Rich had a lifelong passion for classic cars, the Chicago Cubs, polka music and bad Dad jokes. He was an amazing electrician, mechanic, plumber, woodworker and overall handyman.

He is survived by his daughters, Laura France (Christopher Garrison) of St. Paul, MN and Jennifer Stephen (Scott) of Waxhaw, NC; 2 grandchildren: Jack and Campbell.

Interment will be held in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 10AM.
