Stephen "Steve" M. Walter, 68, of Carlisle, formerly of Lancaster, PA, passed on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at UPMC Carlisle Hospital.

Born in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of Robert F. Walter and the late Geraldine (Schreder) Walter. Steve was a graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School and worked in production at Ames Corporation prior to his retirement.

Steve had a variety of interests and hobbies. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, a dedicated member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1299, and enjoyed visiting The Jersey Shore. Known for keeping his circle small, Steve cherished the close relationships he had and was particularly fond of his beloved kitten, Kid.

Steve is survived by his father, Robert F. Walter, and his brother, Robert J. Walter, companion of Linda Scott, as well as many cousins.

A Graveside Service will be held at 9AM on Friday, July 26, 2024 at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Charles Road, Bausman, PA.
