Stanley R. Sorrie, 85, of Lancaster, formerly of Portage, PA died on Saturday evening at his residence. Born in Portage, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Dolmanski Sharie.

Stanley was a retired Master Sergeant in the US Air Force.

Surviving is his niece who he lived with Marie Drossos, Lancaster, great nephew, James M. Drossos, Lebanon, sister-in-law Dorothy Sharie, nephew, Jim Donnelly, and two nieces; Alice Revelski, and Joan Cunnife.

A Christian Prayer Service will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 10:30AM. Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 12:30PM. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Friday from 9:30-10:30AM.
