Shirley A. Ruble, 83, of Washington Boro, passed away on October 13, 2025.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Robert Schultz and Anna Mary Gebhard Lett. She was the proud US Navy wife of the late Bobby Ruble, who passed away in 2018. In Bobby's 30 plus year career as a US Navy Command Master Chief, they traveled the world together and raised a family.

Shirley had worked as an executive housekeeper for the Hampton Inn on Greenfield Rd. for several years and was also a homemaker.

She was an avid bingo player but what she enjoyed the most was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Shirley is survived by her children: Jody Ruble-Eisenbise of Elizabethtown, Bobby Ruble of Key West, FL, and Jennifer married to William Mezick of Fairless Hills, PA; her 5 grandchildren: Kelsea, Kolby, Bobby, Lauryn, and Liam; her great granddaughter Brooke; and her siblings: Dale Gebhard of Jacksonville, FL and Linda Falck of Marietta. She was preceded in death by her brother, James.
