Shirley A. Przychodzen, 82, of Millersville passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary (Martin) Hettinger. She was the loving wife of the late Frank J. Przychodzen whom she shared over 44 years of marriage before his passing in 2017.

She enjoyed reading books, was a wonderful cook, and an avid gardener. Shirley cared deeply for others and was a mother & grandmother figure to all whom she met. Her world was her family, and she supported her daughter and granddaughter in everything they did.

Shirley is survived by two daughters, Melissa A. McMichael of Millersville, PA and Susan "Becky" Smith of Lancaster; two grandchildren, Atley A. McMichael of Millersville and Joshua Kuhn husband of Meghan of Annville; two great-grandchildren, Audie and Scout Kuhn; siblings, Donald Hettinger husband of Linda of Oxford, PA, Kenneth Hettinger husband of Mary Lou of Glenmore, PA, Ronald Hettinger of Montrose, PA, Janine Fedick wife of Mark of Phoenixville, PA and Timothy Hettinger of Greenville, NC. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer A. Przychodzen, granddaughter, Casey Lynn Smith, sister Evelyn "Sis" Baldwin, brother Charles Douglas Hettinger and sister, Mary Louise Kovach.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 2PM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St, Millersville, PA 17551. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Family and friends will be received from 1-2PM at the funeral home on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Shirley's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
