Shirley M. Kuhns, 50, of Lancaster, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 29, 2006.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Joan L. LeCount of Mt. Joy and the late Ward A. Shope.  She was the wife of John W. Kuhns II.  A homemaker, she enjoyed reading, walking, and cooking.  She loved spending time with her family and dogs.

She is survived by a son, Chad A. Kuhns; daughters, Victoria A. Kuhns and Vannessa Lynn Kuhns all of Lancaster; daughter, Christina M. married to David Cutri of Binghamton, NY; grandson, Benedict Cutri; sisters, Sandra Winkleman of Mt. Joy; and Sharon married to David Heisler of Lancaster.  She was preceded in death by a son, John W. Kuhns III.

Shirley's funeral service will be held at the Lancaster First Assembly of God, 1025 Columbia Ave., Lancaster, PA on Monday at 7p.m.  Friends may attend the viewing at the church from 5:30p.m. until the time of service.  The committal service will be Tuesday in Mellinger's Mennonite Cemetery at 11a.m.  Please omit flowers.  Contributions may be made to help the family with funeral expenses to the Shirley Kuhns Trust Acct. c/o M&T Bank, 1847 Columbia Ave., Lancaster, PA 17603.
