Shirley I. Charles, 92, of Lititz, went home to be with her loving Savior, on November 4, 2017, at United Zion Retirement Community. Her parents were the late Susie and Amos Charles. Also deceased are her sister, Ruth C. Shaub, and brother, J. Norman Charles. She served 10 years at the former Mennonite Children's Home. She loved children, having taught the primary class at Millersville Mennonite Church for 40 years. She enjoyed life wherever she was planted, including 32 years as an LPN at Lancaster General Hospital. The last of her family, she is survived by loving nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many loving children, now adults, that she loved and cared for. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Everyone is invited to attend her Memorial Service at 3PM, Sunday, November 12, at Millersville Mennonite Church, 437 Manor Ave., Millersville, PA 17551.
