Sharon Louise Moyer Weit, 69, returned to her Creator from her Brownstown home on June 16, 2024. She was born in Ephrata to D. Clyde and Mae Burkholder Moyer. Sharon graduated from McCaskey High School in 1973. She married John Weit in 1986. Sharon worked in the food service industry in Lancaster for many years.

Sharon is survived by her husband and two stepsons, John Weit, Jr. and wife, Stacy, of Denver, PA, and Scott Weit and wife, Bihn, of Dallas, TX. Four step-grandchildren also survive, Ella, Ethan, Abby and Emily. Several uncles and aunts and many cousins also are part of Sharon's surviving family. Sharon was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Robert Moyer and Linford Moyer.

Sharon found delight in her pet cats and in solving word search puzzles. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Pet Pantry of Lancaster County, 26 Millersville Road, Lancaster, PA 17603

A funeral service will be held at the Charles Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. The viewing is scheduled at 9:00 a.m. followed by the 10:00 a.m. service. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, 719 Highland Avenue, Lancaster.
