Sharon Strohl, 74, of Lititz passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Earl, NC she was the daughter of the late Harry and Vashti (Moore) Pigford. She was the loving wife of Kenneth W. Strohl with whom she celebrated over 54 years of marriage. She was a member of the Salem Bible Church in Voganville. Along with her husband Ken, she enjoyed traveling to places like Hawaii, Alaska, the Panama Canal and going on many cruises. She also enjoyed making jewelry, which she was very proud of, reading and going out to eat with her family after church. Most of all her family was the most important part of her life and she enjoyed spending time with them. In addition to her husband Ken, she is survived by her two daughters, Lea Ann Kilefner wife of Russell of Stevens, PA, Teresa Hess wife of Brian of Manheim; two grandchildren, Bret and Emily. Also surviving are two sisters, Janice Gustafson wife of Victor of Lititz and Carol Kirkpatrick wife of Frank of Ephrata. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Bill Pigford. A Celebration of Sharon's Life will be held at 7PM on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sharon's memory may be made to Hospice & Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125 or American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603.
