Shannon Kissinger-Rothfus, 38, of Lititz, PA died Friday, May 22, 2015 in the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. Born in Lancaster she was a daughter of Charlene (Kauffman) Burkholder of Lititz, PA and the late Raymond L. Kissinger. Shannon worked at Pet Smart in the pet grooming salon, was a pet lover, enjoyed traveling to Disney World, going on cruises and to the beach. Shannon was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and was also employed with the Humane League of Chester and Lancaster Counties. In addition to her mother she is survived by a daughter Kendall Rothfus at home, a sister Nichole Mosser of Lititz; half-sister Desiree Kissinger of Ephrata; step-mother Virginia Kissinger of Lancaster, husband Michael D. Rothfus of Lancaster; grandparents Charles and Rose Kauffman and Frank and Geraldine Leed. Memorial Services will be held Monday, June 1, 2015 at 5PM at the Lititz Mennonite Church, 165 E. Front St., Lititz, PA 17543. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kendall Rothfus education fund.
