Selina N. Gitonga, 48, of Lancaster, PA passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 after a courageous battle with breast cancer at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Narobi, Kenya she was the daughter of Edward N. Mbugua and Mary N. (Kamau) Nguku. She was the loving wife to Patrick G. Mureria for 24 years. She was the loving mother to Emmanuel N., Timothy M., GraceJoy W. and the late Samuel.

Selina was an active member of the African Community Church of Lancaster. She was employed as an RN for Hershey Medical Center. Selina was a youth mentor. She enjoyed cooking and singing. She loved vacationing at Myrtle Beach. Most of all she cherished spending time with her family and worshiping the Lord.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12PM on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Family and friends will be received from 11AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Rohrerstown Mennonite Cemetery.
