IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Scott Thomas
Zerphy
December 23, 2015
Scott was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 23, 2015, at the University of Vermont Medical Center, Burlington, VT, following a snowboarding accident in Lake Placid, NY.
Scott was born in Lancaster, PA on June 4, 1989. A lifelong Lititz, PA resident, he graduated from Warwick High School and attended Shippensburg University. He had been employed by Clair Global since 2007. Along with his passion for snowboarding, Scott was an avid Philadelphia Flyers and Eagles fan and enjoyed playing fantasy football. He also truly enjoyed his work at Clair.
Scott is survived by his parents, Tom and Kim Zerphy of Lititz; brother Steve (wife Johenly) and newborn niece Leah of Germantown, MD; maternal grandmother Joyce Clark of Lancaster; paternal grandparents Tom and Terry Zerphy of Lancaster; and many, many loving aunts, uncles and cousins, whom we would like to thank for all of their love, care and prayers. He will be so greatly missed by all who knew him. Scott was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Richard "Dean" Clark.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the caring staff and physicians at UVMC for their overwhelming compassion, support and expert care for Scott and our family. They are truly angels doing the Lord's good work here on earth. Through their efforts, Scott was able to give the gifts of hope and life to many others this Christmas.
Scott's family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, followed by the service at 7 pm with Pastor Joe Hyatt officiating, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Wear your favorite Sports Team clothing in memory of Scott. Private interment in Landis Valley Mennonite Cemetery. Please omit flowers and consider a contribution to a charity of your choice.
