IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Scott H.
Mccomsey
February 6, 2025
Scott H. McComsey, an amazing husband, father, and grandparent, has joined our Lord in heaven on the 6th day of February, 2025 at the age of 70 years old. He spent his final moments at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born on February 14th, 1954, in Lancaster Pennsylvania to the late Richard C. McComsey and Isabella R. McComsey. Scott lived to exemplify what a great person is; kind, loving, hardworking, and dedicated.
After meeting his wonderful wife Cindy early in life, they decided to spend their lives together on the day of August 9th 1971. In their 53 years together, they created many memories; enjoying long days on their boats, exploring the Bush River, NASCAR races, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. While they may have enjoyed those things, he loved nothing more than the Family which GOD has given to them.
Raising two daughters, Coleen and Gwen, he lived every day ensuring that his family was always taken care of. Each word he shared was always to encourage, strengthen, and uplift them especially in the challenging times.
His love grew exponentially with the birth of his grandchildren: Sabrina, Jose, Eve-alice, and Alexander. Never missing a birthday, sporting event, or next step in life; Scott was present without hesitation. His love is now even felt by his 6 beautiful great grandchildren: Owen, Milana, Isaac, Oakleigh, Kingston, & Legend.
A committal service will be held at a later date at Conestoga Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org or Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601.
He will be forever remembered and missed by us all, including his surviving siblings Dave McComsey and Trudy McComsey.
