Sarah B. (Wise) Marks, 82, of Mountville, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy.

Born in Lancaster, she was the wife of Lester C. Marks of Mountville, and the daughter of the late Noah and Emma (Bollinger) Wise.

Sarah loved animals, especially her two cats. She enjoyed going out to eat, the outdoors, and working in her yard. She cherished her family and the time she spent with them.

Sarah was a member of Mountville Church of the Brethren.

In addition to her husband of 65 years, she is survived by her children: Dianne Urban and her husband Clyde of Lancaster; Debbie Fox and her husband Cliff of Landisville; and Doug Marks and his wife Kristina of Bainbridge; six grandchildren: Lori, Carlissa, Brandon, Michael, Joey, and Chris; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Arthur Wise; and two sisters: Ellen Keeney and Miriam Snyder. She was preceded in death by a son, Dale Marks, a brother, Clayton Wise, and a sister, Esther Johns.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, August 19, 2013 at Mountville Church of the Brethren, 60 Clay St., Mountville, PA with Pastor Rebecca R. Fuchs officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Silver Springs Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
