Sarah E. Ritter, 91, of Manheim, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Pleasant View Retirement Community. Born in Salisbury Twp., Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Kathryn (Wertz) Eberly, and the beloved wife of the late Harold B. Ritter with whom she shared 36 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 2006. Sarah worked as an assembler for RCA in Lancaster. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, craft painting and knitting. She loved all animals, especially her Yorkie, Nipper. Sarah is survived by three daughters, Sandra L. Henny of East Petersburg, Vanessa A. Fleming and her husband Peter of Georgetown, DE, and Donna Marie Landis. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Roy William Bechtold, and sisters, Betty Long, Elsie Sheets and Doris Maser. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Riverview Burial Park, 1100 South Duke Street, Lancaster, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Sarah's memory may be offered to the Pleasant View Retirement Community Benevolent Care Fund, 544 North Penryn Road, Manheim, PA 17545.
