Sarah (Kanish) Duing, 86, of Lancaster passed away at her residence on Tuesday May 6 ^th ,2008. Born in Vintondale PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Kostenyak) Kanish. Sarah was the wife Charles A. " Red" Duing to whom she was married for 60 years.

Mrs. Duing was employed by Bell Telephone as an Operator and Service Observer for 30 years before retiring. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Sarah was preceded in death by a daughter Cynthia A. Duing who passed away August 1 ^st , 1981

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 9 ^th , 2008, St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, 170 Charles Rd. Lancaster PA 17603 at 1PM with Fr. Daniel Mitzel officiating.
