Sara Jean "Sally" Finefrock, 83, of Leola, went home to be the Lord on Sunday, December 30, 2018. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph Finefrock, Sr.

Born in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Richard P. and Martha May (Summers) Schroyer.

Sara was a graduate of McCaskey High School and was a former telephone operator with Bell Telephone. Her best times were spent with her family, they were the epitome of who she was. She loved to host and attend family gatherings and adored the time she had with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved to play cards and would never turn down a good poker game.

She is survived by her children: Joseph Finefrock, Jr. of Lancaster, Jamie Fryberger and her husband, Ed of New Providence, Jodi Shaffer and her husband, David of Lititz; grandchildren: Chad McComsey and his wife, Maria of Stevens, David Shaffer and his wife, AshLee of Womelsdorf, Emmanuel James and his wife, Danielle of Lancaster; and great-grandchildren: Izabella, KyLee, Hunter and Zayden. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanne James; a grandson, Nathan Taska; a sister, Helen Louise Espigh and a brother, Richard P. Schroyer, Jr.
