Sandra J. Resh, 60 of Lancaster died Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Lancaster General Hospital and is safely home in heaven. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Alessandro and Catherine Mauro Di Battista.

Sandra was a LPN and worked at Community Hospital for 21 years and retired from Mennonite Home. She was of the catholic faith and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed going out to eat and playing bingo.

Surviving are two sisters: JoAnn Book and Camille Theis both of Lancaster, three nieces: Sharon, Stephanie, Gina, two nephews: Troy, Bobby and baby Kierra.

She was preceded in death by a nephew, Joe Charles

A funeral service will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 11:00AM with Rev. Michael Grab officiating.
