Sandra L. Conlin, 74, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Country Meadows of Lancaster. She was born in Lancaster to the late Jessie F., Sr. and Pauline C. (Shirk) Conlin.

A 1956 graduate of J. P. McCaskey High School, Sandy, worked at Slaymaker Lock Company, Schwalm's Watch Dials and finally at Yorgey's Fine Dry Cleaning. Sandy was a lifelong active member of Faith United Church of Christ, where she sang in the choir and was a former Sunday School Superintendent and youth group leader.

Sandy loved to get in the car and go and traveled both the US and abroad. She enjoyed having company and listening to country music and Elvis. Sandy was a member of Beta Sigma Phi since high school.

Surviving Sandy are her five siblings, Patricia A. Book, Lancaster, Dawn L. Hetrick, Atglen, Jesse F. Conlin, Jr., husband of Barbara F., Lancaster, Brenda L. wife of Horace Davidson, Jr., Lancaster and Judith L., wife of Kenneth Whiteside, Lancaster; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family expresses their heartfelt appreciation and God's blessings to the staff of Country Meadows and Grane Hospice Care for their compassionate care of Sandy.

A viewing will take place from 10 to 11 AM, followed by a celebration of Sandy's life at 11 AM with The Reverend John C. Rieker officiating, at Faith U.C.C. on Friday, February 3, 2017. Interment in Riverview Burial Park. Please omit flowers.
