Samuel N. DiBella, 85, formerly of West Chester, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012 at Willow Valley Lakeside in Willow, Street, PA.

He was the husband of Mary Accardi DiBella, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage this past Sept. 15 ^th . Born in Palmyra, NJ, he was the son of the late Pietro and Antoinette Taglatela DiBella.

An employee for General Motors for 32 years, Sam served as the District Manager of Sale and District Manager of Parts. After his retirement, he worked as a sales associate for 18 years at Strawbridge and Clothier.

He was a US Army veteran of World War II, serving as a tank mechanic with the Third Army.

Sam was very handy, enjoyed collecting transportation memorabilia and liked to attend auctions and garage sales.

He was a member of St. Philip The Apostle Catholic Church in Lancaster.

In addition to his wife, Mary, he is survived by his son, Robert P. DiBella married to Gretchen Brenes of Winston-Salem, NC, his daughter Janet M. married to David Zeile of Herndon, VA and by his 3 grandchildren G. David, Amanda, and Maggie. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Lena and Marie.

Friends will be received on Monday, August 6, 2012 from 9-10 AM at St. Philip The Apostle Catholic Church, 2111 Millersville Pike, Lancaster, PA , with the Mass to follow at 10AM. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 2PM.
