Salvatore Mineo, 85, of Ephrata passed away peacefully on Friday June 5, 2020. Born in Carini, Italy he was the son of the late Croce and Rosalie (Calderone) Mineo. He was the loving husband of Rosa Mineo, with whom he shared 63 wonderful years of marriage.

Salvatore was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ephrata. Salvatore's best times were spent around the dinner table, eating and enjoying time with his family, especially if fish was being served. Salvatore enjoyed tinkering and could fix almost anything. He also enjoyed to spend time fishing or relaxing on the beach. In his later years Salvatore devoted himself to taking care of his wife.

In addition to his wife Rose Mineo, Salvatore is survived by his daughter Rosalia Russo, wife of Salvatore, of East Earl, his daughter Francesca Naimo, wife of Joseph, of Ephrata, his daughter Patricia Ferrante, wife of Peter, of Windsor, his grandchildren Daniella, Vincent, Joe, Alessandro, Disma, Adriana, and Jacob, and his eleven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter Isabella Crowther, and a grandson Salvatore Crowther.

A viewing will be held at The Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, on Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 10AM-12PM. A funeral service officiated by Rev. John Murray will begin at 12PM. Burial will immediately follow the funeral service at Pleasantview Cemetery, in Sinking Spring, PA
