Salvatore Lucidonio, 82, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at home.  Born in Teramo Abruzi, Italy, Salvatore was the son of Liberato and Rosaria Lerehole Lucidonio.  He was married to Maria Ruth (Narvaez) Lucidonio for 38 years.

Salvatore was formerly employed for 11 years at Flexsteel Co. of Lancaster. He worked at Lancaster Catholic High School in the maintenance dept. for 11 years before his retirement in 1995.  He worked for over 25 years at the Rendezvous Steak House on West King St. as a cook and manager.

Sal was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church.

He was a member of the Hubley Social Club, a 3 ^rd degree Knight of Columbus with Council 867, Order of the Sons of Italy, and a former member of the Italian-American Club.  He enjoyed cooking, vegetable gardening, and traveling.

Surviving beside his wife, Maria, are 2 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by son, Michael, 4 brothers, Frank, Alexandro, Jacob, & Armando, and 1 sister, Angelia.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 24, 2013 at 10:30 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church, 929 N. Duke St., Lancaster, PA 17602 with Rev. Norman C. Hohenwarter, Jr. as Celebrant.  A viewing will be held Monday Morning from 9 until 10 AM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602.
