Ruth Doris (Reynolds) Gibble, 90, of Lancaster, died Friday, October 21, 2016 in her residence. Born in Lancaster, she was the wife of the late Wilbur H. Gibble, and the daughter of the late Clyde Oscar and Alma Mae (Herr) Reynolds. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Lancaster, where she devoted her life to her religion and ministry. Ruth was an avid reader and gardener, loved a good game of cards, and was a talented crafter. An excellent cook, she will be fondly remembered for her mouth-watering pumpkin pie and potpie. She was an excellent example to her family whom she adored and cherished and she will be greatly missed. Ruth is survived by her children: Carolyn Armstrong of York; Ruth Hoover of Lancaster; Mary Grimecy and her husband Barry W. of Quarryville; and George Hoover and his wife Kathy of FL; 18 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Lou Tollefson of Myerstown. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Espinosa; a brother, Vernon Reynolds; and 2 sisters: Alma Coldren and Betty Jane Reynolds. Memorial services will be held at 4 PM on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 850 Hershey Avenue, Lancaster. Kindly omit flowers.
