Ruth E. Perry, 79, of Pequea Township, died on Sunday, October 21, 2018 while under the care of Hospice & Community Care. She was the wife of Ronald E. Perry for 60 years.

Ruth was a homemaker. She was a member of Grace Community Church, Willow Street.

Ruth enjoyed cooking, gardening and landscaping and loved being in the outdoors. She also enjoyed photography.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late David J. and Ruth Esther (Miller) Beaner. In addition to Ron, she is survived by a son, Douglas E. married to Patricia (Groff) Perry of Strasburg Township; a daughter, Kim L. (Perry) Wilbourn of Millersville; four grandchildren, Thad married to Crystal (Bleacher) Perry, Ryan Perry, Christopher Wilbourn and Nicole E. Wilbourn; two great-grandchildren, Madison Perry and Kendyl Perry; two brothers, Richard and George Beaner and two sisters, Kathryn Strickler and Lydia married to Gerry Beaner of Lititz. Ruth was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Donald Beaner and a sister, Erma Rosenberry.

The funeral service will be on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 12 Noon in Grace Community Church of Willow Street with Pastor Mike Sigman and Pastor Wil Martin officiating. The viewing is 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment in Willow Street Mennonite Cemetery following the service.
