Ruth H. Morrison, 81, of New Holland, PA, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Garden Spot Village.

She was the wife of Robert G. Morrison with whom she shared nearly 58 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Howard and Ardenia Ennis Hetrich. Ruth was a 1956 graduate of Temple University, earning a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.

For many years Ruth gave her life to caring for children. She was a loving mother and teacher. She was "Miss Ruth" to thousands of children during her 27 years as director and teacher at the Chelten Baptist Church Nursery School.

Along with her husband Bob, Ruth was a joyful host and welcomed many into her home to enjoy her fabulous cooking and hospitality.

In addition to her husband, Robert G Morrison, Ruth is survived by her son, Robert G. Jr, married to Michelle of Chicago, IL, her two grandchildren Xander and Sierra and her sister, Ardenia Fareno of Warminster. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Hetrich.

Friends will be received on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 9:30 AM at Garden Spot Village Chapel, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland, PA 17557, with the Memorial Service to follow at 10:30 AM.
