Ruth A. "Julie" Gagliardi, 70, of Lititz, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Havana, Cuba she was the daughter of the late Cecil Peter and Dora Nora (Villadamigo) Escalante. She was married to Lawrence J. Gagliardi for over 43 years.

Ruth was a homemaker most of her life raising her children.

She enjoyed cooking, writing, conversing on facebook with her friends, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Ruth loved living in Lititz where she attended Life Spring Fellowship Church and was a true Christian who loved Jesus.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her 3 sons, Michael Branella, of Playa Del Rey, CA, Arthur Branella, husband of Andrea, of Egg Harbor Twp, NJ, Peter Gagliardi, husband of Susan, of Hatboro, PA; 2 daughters, Annette Cooney, wife of Michael, of Dacula, GA, Lori Ruchalski, wife of James, of Lititz. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, James Ruchalski, Jr., Michael Ruchalski, Carly Ruchalski, Benjamin Gagliardi, 2 step-grandchildren, Nicole Axelson, Nicole Lewis and a sister, Xiomara Brabazon, of Philadelphia, PA.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Life Spring Fellowship Church, 490 W. Lincoln Ave, Lititz, PA with Rev. Dennis Loose officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Interment in Witness Park, Lititz.
