Ruth M. Johns, 89, died peacefully at Luther Acres on November 30, 2016. She was born in Rising Sun, MD to the late Hubert and Hazel R. Martin. Ruth was the wife of the late William S. Johns. Sr. and the late Frank J. Slover. She was a member of the Garden Spot Travel Trailer Club and loved visiting Florida in the winter months. In addition to her son, Donald W. Slover of Lancaster and daughter, Patricia L. Carpenter of Lititz, Ruth is survived by her brother, Richard Martin and sister, Evelyn, wife of the late John Resch Sr., daughter-in-law, Joanne wife of the late Ronald Slover of Ephrata, son-in-law, Ronald "Babe" Flory husband of the late Constance "Connie" Flory, daughter-in-law Carolyn wife of son Donald, step daughter Darla wife of Ben Witmer of Pequea and step son William Johns Jr.. Ruth was blessed with 6 grandsons, 13 great grandchildren, 15 step grandchildren, 27 step great grandchildren and 15 step great great grandchildren. and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Constance "Connie" Flory, her son Ronald E. Slover, brothers Hubert "Danny", William Wayne and Harold Martin, and great granddaughter, Cayleigh Jane Slover. Friends will be received on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 10-11AM at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, with the Funeral Service to follow at 11AM.
