Ruth M. Ebersole, 90, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Mennonite Home Communities. She was the daughter of the late Harry E. McNair, Sr. and Margaret (Bauer) McNair.

Ruth was a dedicated member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. She served as the parish secretary of St. Matthew and Grace Brethren Church for over 36 years. She enjoyed taking bus trips with her family and friends. Ruth loved to spend her time baking, reading, knitting, and gardening. Upon retirement Ruth volunteered for Visiting Nurses.

Ruth is survived by her sons; Barry L. Ebersole, husband of Debra, and Jerry L. Ebersole, husband of Mary, her granddaughter; Taylor Alger, wife of Will, and her great-grandson; Kaleb Alger. She is preceded in death by her husband; Lester L. Ebersole, her sister; Mary E. McNair, her brother; Harry E. McNair, Jr., and her granddaughter; Jenny Rebecca Ebersole.

Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service on Thursday, June 6, 2019, 10AM at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery, 435 Manor Ave, Millersville, PA 17551. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, 700 Pleasure Rd, Lancaster, PA.
