Russell C. Miller, 83, of Lancaster, passed away, Friday, August 5, 2011 at Mennonite Home. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late John Miller and Lena Mae Beach. Russell was the husband of the late Jean Fitzgerald Miller who died May 12, 2010.

Russell proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Force during WWII.

He worked for his brother at Zimmerman and Bitts Plumbing and later for the Lancaster Country Club until his retirement. Russell was a devoted husband who enjoyed spending time with his wife whom he referred to as his "Hun Bun", going out to eat together and took care of her the last few years before her passing.  He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

Russell is survived by a son, Ronald Reese of Miami, FL, a daughter, Deborah Flannery of Kentucky, 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Adora Jean Lewis, a sister, Thelma Oster, and 2 brothers, Gerald Miller and Robert Bitts.
