Ruben DeJesus DeLeon, 47, of Lancaster died on 9/24/2013 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center. Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, Ruben was the son of Julia V. DeLeon of Cidra, PR, and the late Alonso De Jesus Rivera. Ruben was self-employed as a carpenter and painter, and also worked at American Legion Post # 34 of Lancaster during special events. He was a very happy person, who enjoyed spending time with his family. He was always ready to share a good story or tell a joke. Ruben was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. In addition to his mother, Ruben is survived by children, Ruben De Jesus Torres of Lancaster, Genesis DeJesus Torres of Puerto Rico, Tatyana DeJesus of Lancaster, siblings David DeJesus of Cidra, PR, Luz E. Negron, wife of William, of Lancaster, William DeJesus, husband of Juana, of Lancaster, Alonso DeJesus, husband of Wilma, of Lancaster, Noemi DeJesus of San German, PR, Samuel DeJesus, husband of Teresa, of Lancaster, Loida Rodriguez, wife of Andy, of Cayey, PR, Jacqueline DeJesus, wife of Luis, of Lancaster. Funeral Services will be on Friday, September 27, 2013 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St, Lancaster, PA 17602 from 6pm-11pm. Interment in Cidra Municipio Cemetery, PR.
