Roy J. Miles, 65, passed away at his Lancaster residence on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. Roy shared 40 years of marriage with his wife Beverly A. (Morrison) Miles.

Born in Lancaster, Roy the was the son of the late Roy and Evelyn Elizabeth (Caldwell) Miles. He had worked as a chef for the former Dempsey's Diner on Columbia Avenue, Lancaster, and the former Good 'N Plenty Restaurant in Smoketown.

Roy enjoyed interacting with his friends on social media. He was a pet lover, enjoyed Christmas and decorating his home for the Holidays, and he was a great cook.

Surviving Roy are his wife, Beverly, his daughter, Tina Reye-Serrano, and his son, Harry Sapp, Jr, husband of Christina, all of Lancaster. Also surviving Roy are five grandchildren, Eddied Crespo, Yajayra Reyes, Jonathan Reyes, Ellen Sapp, and Harry Sapp, Jr.; and five great-grandchildren, Yadalize, Averianna, Zayoura, Armani, and Jeriayla.

In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by six siblings.
