Rosemary Treier Gunzenhauser, 84, of Manheim died Monday, March 22, 2010 at Pleasant View Retirement Community. Born in Lancaster, PA she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Theresa Gable Lutz.
She was a homemaker and the wife of the late Leroy H. Gunzenhauser who died 2008. Rosemary was preceded in death by her first husband the late Francis John Treier who died in 1959.
She loved music and enjoyed singing. Rosemary liked to travel and especially enjoyed Sunday drives. She was a very caring and loving person, who was especially fond of spending time with her family.
Surviving are her four children: Rosemarie wife of Donald Mehnert, Patrick husband of Barbara Treier, Michael husband of Beth Treier, Kathleen wife of John Kedell, five Step-children: Dennis husband of Nancy Gunzenhauser, Jerry husband of Loretta Gunzenhauser, Douglas husband of Debbie Gunzenhauser, Bruce husband of Melanie Gunzenhauser, Diane wife of Joseph Movinsky, 23 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and a sister: Dorothy Binkley.
Rosemary was preceded in death by three sisters: Mildred Lutz, Jeanette Bitzberger, and Romaine Britts.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave. Lancaster, PA on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 11:00AM. with Rev. Peter Hahn as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman, PA. There will be a viewing at the Church on Friday from 10-11:00AM.
