Rosella A. Gant, 67, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 6, 2020 at Hospice and Community Care. Born in Lancaster she was the daughter of the late John and Delores (Gant) Stewart.

Rosella was a 1971 graduate of J.P McCaskey High School. Following graduation Rose went on to work as a drug, alcohol, and mental behavior counselor. Rose devoted her life to caring for her mother full time until her passing in 2019. She also worked as a caregiver to Mr. Maloney and Ms Netty. In her free time Rose enjoyed to play bingo or the slot machines. Rosella was well loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Rose is survived by her children; Ronald A. Gant, of Lancaster, Anita M. Gant, of Lancaster, LaRhonda L. Carter, wife of Dana, of Lancaster, Taurus Gant, husband of Rachel, of Nevada, and JaBrohn A. Gant, of Lancaster, her brothers; John H. Gant, of Lancaster, and William H. Stewart, of Lancaster, her twenty two grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren,her best friend; Barbara McIntire and several other cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A drive up viewing will be held at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, on Monday May 11, 2020 from 11-1PM. Funeral services officiated by Pastor Kevin Brown and interment will be private.
