Rose Marie Kochenberger, 63, of Lancaster, passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family, Friday, February 19, 2021. Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Gerald J. and Blanche G. (Rich) Wingle. Rose was the faithful wife and best friend of Thomas P. Kochenberger, with whom she celebrated 41 years of marriage.

A graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, Rose went on to earn a degree as a nurse and worked in the nursing field for many years as a licensed practical nurse. Later she decided to make a career change and became a valued sales associate at the Olde Mill House Shoppes, Lancaster.

Of the Christian faith, Rose enjoyed a variety of hobbies including gardening, canning, cooking, baking, cake decorating, barbequing, crafting, collecting pig figurines, and had a love for birds. However, the most important thing to Rose was spending time with her family and friends who she loved deeply. In addition to her husband, Thomas, she is survived by her two sons, Samuel and Daniel Kochenberger.

Funeral Services for Rose will be held at 11AM, Monday, March 1, 2021, at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from 10AM to 11AM. COVID-19 protocol will be followed. Rose will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park, Lebanon.
