Rosa Poell, 92, of Pequea, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the Essa Flory Hospice Center.

She was the wife of the late Friedrich Poell who passed away in 1986. Born in Burghausen, Germany, Rosa was the daughter of the late Franz X. and Rosa Lermer Koller.

Rosa had been a homemaker and was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Quarryville.

Her family was very special to her and she loved to spend time with them.

Rosa is survived by her daughter, Linda married to Thomas Mullen Jr., her grandchildren, TJ, Peter, and Christina and by her great grandchildren, Alex, Austin, Duncan, Abby, and Jack. She is also survived by her three sisters, all of Austria, Trudi, Lotte, and Herta. She was preceded in death by her sister, Irmgard.

Friends will be received on Saturday, July 21, 2012 from 10-11AM at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 955 Robert Fulton Hwy., Quarryville, PA , with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11AM. Private interment in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA.
