IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rory Evan
Oatman
September 11, 2025
Rory Evan Oatman, of Lititz, passed away on September 11, 2025, at the age of 58. Born in San Diego, California where he enjoyed his best memories as a child, he was the son of the late Roland E. Oatman, Sr. and Carolyn C. (Hill) Oatman.
Rory was a natural athlete with a love for sports, particularly golf, which he pursued with great enthusiasm. He found joy in working with his hands as a talented cabinet maker, shaping wood into beautiful creations. His warm personality and big heart endeared him to many; he was always willing to lend a helping hand and support anyone in need.
Rory drew a crowd with good music and good food both at which he was passionate about. Rory lived by the motto of always taking the scenic route. From long drives in his jeep to the sandy beaches of Key West, he was full of life and made every experience more enjoyable with his copilot Tammy. Beyond this, his greatest treasure was his grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
Rory is survived by the love of his life Tammy Snavely; his children: Rory E. Oatman, II (Hannah), Kayla Oatman, Meghan Carley (Eric), Kelsey Snavely (Curt) and Jordan (JC) Snavely; his grandchildren: Liam, Mckinley, Kaylee, Braeden, and Carter; his sister Nicole Sanchez (Richard) and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Rory is preceded in death by his brothers: Roland Earl Oatman, Jr., René Edward Oatman and Ryan Eric Oatman.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. 17543 with a time of remembrance to begin at 6:00 PM.
