Ronald F. Vitale, 69, of Lancaster, PA, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Lancaster General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

He was the husband of Rae A. (Shay) Vitale. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Frank C. and Angeline ( Madonna) Vitale.

Before retiring in 1997, Ronald had worked for Skyline Distributors of Lancaster, PA for 10 years. He had also formerly worked for the Schick Corporation for 15 years.

What he enjoyed most in his life was spending time with his family and his friends. He also enjoyed gun collecting and target shooting, and playing shuffleboard. He had been a member of the Green Hill Sportsmen's Assn.

In addition to his wife Rae, he is survived by his 4 children: Lynne R. Vitale of Lancaster, Barbara A. Vitale of Lancaster, Tina L. Vitale of Lititz, and Blake A. Singleton of Lancaster; his 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Ronald was preceded in death by his brother, James Vitale.
