Ronald T. Smith, born August 15, 1931 died Thursday, July 25, 2013. He was a resident of Brethren Village, having moved there from Georgia in 2011. He was a retired Lt. Colonel in the US Air Force. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Virginia (Gooding) Smith of Brethren Village, sons, Thomas G. Smith and Ronald W. Smith of AZ and stepdaughters, Susan Reddell and Alice Howard (Curtis) of CA, a brother-in-law, John Gooding and his family in Lancaster, as well as numerous family members in Georgia and other states. He was preceded in death by his parents Hoke and Eulice (Brantley) Smith and a stepson, Daniel Wright. A Memorial Service will be held at 2PM on Monday, July 29, at the Brethren Village Chapel, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lancaster. Friends will be received at the chapel from 1:30-2PM.
