Obituary

Ronald F. Leaman, 79, of West Lampeter Township, passed away peacefully at Lancaster General Hospital on March 4, 2025, following a fall caused by ALS. He was the beloved husband of Carol Jannello-Leaman, who was at his side.

Raised in Mountville, he was the son of the late Warren and Mary (Esbenshade) Leaman. Ron worked all his life in the automobile business, including many years at Wolf Motors in Lancaster. Ron loved his retirement job as a parts driver at New Holland Auto Group and enjoyed his customers, and his co-workers.

Working in his yard and garden, drinking a pint of Guinness, cars, watching PBS, and Wednesday dinners out with Bill and Eva were among his favorite things. But most of all, Ron loved Carol, they were inseparable and would have celebrated their 35th anniversary in April. She was his person, and he was hers.

In addition to his wife, Ron is survived by a large group of loving family and friends. We will never forget his bravery and determination in the face of the terrible disease that ALS is, and he will be dearly loved and missed forever.

Family and friends will be received from 10AM to 11AM, Friday, March 28, 2025, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Memorial Services will follow at the funeral home at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice & Community Care , 685 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA 17601.
