Romaine A. Freeman, 90, of Lancaster, PA passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Dale E. Freeman, Sr. who died in 1995.

Born in Lancaster she was a daughter of the late Henry F. and Caroline A. (Wile) Bielmyer. Romaine was a 1943 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School and was a homemaker. She enjoyed volunteering at St. Anne's School and Lancaster Catholic. Romaine was very family oriented and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children Dale E. Freeman, Jr. husband of Sibyl Seachrist of Lancaster, PA and Roberta wife of Edward Rohrbaugh of York, PA; four grandchildren Eric and Aidan Freeman and Nicole and Michelle Rohrbaugh; one sister Shirley Bielmyer of Lancaster, PA and one brother James Bielmyer of Florida. Romaine was preceded in death by a sister Mary Geib and a brother Henry Bielmyer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 10:00AM from St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph St. Lancaster, PA 17603 with Fr. Allan Wolfe as Celebrant. Entombment will be held in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman, PA.
