Romaine K. Bonner, 102 of St. Anne's Retirement Community passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Francis J. and Catherine (Young) Kirchner. She was the wife of the late Bernard Bonner who had passed away in 2006 and she had been previously married to the late J. Anthony Tretter who passed away in 2000. She was a secretary at Armstrong World Industries for 36 years before being transferred to Kerr Glass Co. for 4 years before retiring. She enjoyed needlepointing, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles and playing pinochle. She and her first husband traveled extensively. She loved life and people. She is survived by her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister and 2 brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Chapel of St. Anne's Retirement Community, 3952 Columbia Ave, Columbia, PA 17512 on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 12 Noon. Friends will be received a half hour prior to the service on Thursday. Interment in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Romaine's memory may be made to St. Anne's Retirement Community at the above address.
