Roland E. "Ike" Eichelberger, 73, of New Providence, PA, passed away peacefully, surround by his family, on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Lancaster General Hospital.

He was the husband of Audrey F. Spece Eichelberger, to whom he was married 51 years this past September 11 ^th . Born in York, he was the son of the late Kennenth E. Eichelberger and Hester M. Yinger Eichelberger Senft.

Ike had retired from textile designing, and Eichelbergers Drywall which he owned and operated with his daughter, Tina (Little Ike).

He was an avid member of the Experimental Aviation Assn (EAA) and the NRA. He loved history, warplanes, trains, gardening, racing, and his cat, "Barney". He also loved his time spent in Nova Scotia.

In addition to his wife, Audrey, he is survived by his children, all of Lancaster: David R. married to Sandra Haines, Paul C. married to Kelly Haines, and Tina M. Eichelberger; 4 grandchildren Ryan, Kaitlin, Aaron, and Thomas Haines, and by his 2 sisters Diane married to Michael Tomarkin of York and Gwen married to Jack Bufkin of Phoenix, AZ. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael.
