Rogelio "Cuba" Rodriguez Gomez, 79, of Lancaster, passed away at Newport Meadows Nursing Home, Thursday, February 13, 2025. Cuba, sometimes known as "Philly" was born in Cuba and migrated to the United States.

A hard worker, Cuba was a skilled landscaper with a green thumb. He also enjoyed playing dominoes and loved to dress sharply, he was a real ladies' man.

Cuba is survived by his niece, Portia Rivera and her fiancé, Derrick Ringold, who compassionately took Cuba into their own home to care for him. He is also survived by his great nieces and nephews, Anastiana, Jan-Antonio, Yavier, and Alix. Cuba was preceded in death by his wife, Ana Rosa Diaz.

Friends are invited to join the family for a viewing from 1PM to 2PM, Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602. Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
