Rodney D. Williams, 55, of Lancaster, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Philadelphia he was the son of Juanita (Nicholes) Shelton and the late Edward Nutter. Rodney enjoyed playing the drums and watching movies. He and his family enjoyed trips to local amusement parks, Ocean City, MD., and Holiday Lake, NJ. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and loved to play basketball. He was a talented cook. His outgoing personality will be missed by all. Rodney is survived by his first wife, Jacquelyn Williams; his children; Shnika Williams of Philadelphia, Marquita Williams (Dontavis) of NC; his life-partner and best friend Lauren M. Johnson of Lancaster; his extended daughters: Lakia Johnson of Lancaster, Stephanie Johnson of Troy, NY, Lena Johnson of Harrisburg and Aldrika Johnson of Lancaster; his siblings; Marquita Diggs (Gary), Dion Williams, Juanita "Tawana" Washington (Alonzo) of Lancaster and Bernard Nutter as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother James "Jimmy" Williams.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 29, 2001 @ Ebenezer Baptist Church, 701 North Lime Street, Lancaster, PA 17603. Repast will immediately follow @ Emerald Foundation, 2120 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601 (time has not been determined)
