Roderick E. Laukhuff, son of Donald and Rose Marie (Forberger) Laukhuff and husband of Ann (Riggs) Laukhuff died peacefully on February 5, 2025, at Hospice & Community Care after a long struggle with cancer.

Surviving is his wife Ann whom he was married to for 50 years, daughter Gina wife of David Petrick, grandson William, granddaughter Lillian, sister Donna Marie Thourot, sister Carol King wife of Timothy King, brother Gerald Laukhuff husband of Barbara (Snyder), sister Lisa Poplar, and many nieces and nephews.

Roderick attended Lancaster Catholic High School where he played football and basketball. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in economics from Millersville University and later with a Master of Business Administration from Shippensburg University. During his career, he worked as a Human Resource Manager for Raymark and retired from High Steel Structures as the Human Resource Director.

He attended St. Mary's Catholic Church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister for 15 years. In his free time, Roderick enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, hunting, and coaching youth sports.

The family would like to thank Hospice & Community Care for the wonderful care and dignity Roderick received on his journey home to the Lord.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 119 S Prince St, Lancaster, PA 17603, with a visitation with the family from 9:00-10:00 AM. Roderick will be laid to rest in St. Josephs New Roman Catholic Cemetery, 175 Charles Rd, Lancaster, PA 17603 following the service.
