Robert C. Wallace, 80, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at his residence. He was the husband of the Elsie "Betty" E. Wallace, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage this past December 15th. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late William W. and Cora P. Nixdorf Wallace. Robert had been long involved in golf course maintenance, first working at The Host Enterprises for 12 years, followed by the Lancaster Country Club for 22 years. He was known for his great sense of humor. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons: David married to Brenda Beck and Ronald married to Elaine Beck, both of Lancaster; his 4 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren and by his sister, Betty Heisey of Lancaster. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
