Robert Earl Pozza, 69, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Lancaster General Hospital after a long illness.  He was the husband of Martha Jane Pozza, his loving wife.  Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Eva (Yinger) Pozza and Joseph B. Pozza, Jr.

In addition to his wife, Robert will be lovingly missed by his sister, Mary Anne Pozza and his brother, Joseph B. Pozza, III.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Lewis Karl Pozza.

Robert was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church.  He worked his younger years in the kitchen at the Clear View Diner in Mount Joy.  He then worked at K/D Tool in the shipping department; and for the state in the highway department.  His final job was at Alcoa Mill Products until he retired after 35 years of service.

Robert and Martha Jane Pozza would have been married on June 28, 2013 for 40 years.  He enjoyed attending garage sales, loved all animals and family gatherings.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM on Monday, May 13, 2013 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 929 N. Duke Street, Lancaster, PA 17602 with Rev. Norman C. Hohenwarter as Celebrant.  A viewing will be held from 6-8 PM on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 East King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602 and again on Monday from 9:15-10:15 AM at the funeral home.  Interment will be at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Robert's name to the Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Highway E., Lancaster, PA 17602.  To send the family online condolences, please visit SnyderFuneralHome.com.
