Robert S. Mills, 94, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Luther Acres in Lititz. He was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA to the late Walter S. and Winifred (Williams) Mills. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Rowe) Mills who passed away in 2011.

He graduated from Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, PA in 1940 and after proudly serving in the US Army during World War II, graduated from Mansfield State College and then attended law school at Dickinson College. Professionally, he spent his career at Carlisle Tire and Rubber Company as a sales representative.

Bob was a longtime member of Conestoga Country Club where he was able to pursue his lifelong passion for the game of golf. Bob was also a Mason and a longtime member of the Landmark Lodge. No. 442 F. & A.M in Wilkes-Barre. Additionally he enjoyed playing bridge and family vacations to Stone Harbor, NJ and Lake Naomi in the Poconos.

Surviving are two sons, Robert S. Mills Jr., husband of Nancy of Naples, FL and Pocono Pines, PA; John David Mills, husband of Joyce of Hilton Head, SC; a daughter, Susan S. Mills of Lancaster; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Dr, Lancaster, PA 17603.
