Robert "Robbie" L. Thomas, 61, of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021. Born in Lancaster, PA he was the son of the late Joe Grizzle and Olive Thomas.

Robert attended The Father, Son and Holy Ghost Church. Prior to retirement he worked at Lombardo's as a chef for over 28 years and Red Lobster for over 10 years. He was currently employed at Elizabethtown College. Robbie was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He was known as the grill master in his family and loved treating his family to his culinary delights. Robbie enjoyed mentoring young people. His kind and giving nature will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his partner Sheila Gray of Lancaster; his children: Kyle, Christopher and Anthony; his godson Robert Lee; his step-daughter Jaylishe Gray; his siblings: Frenches, Crystal, Clifford, Lamont, Carl, Ronnie, Nathaniel "Skeeter" and Samuel as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

A Home Going Service will be held 11AM on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602. Family and friends will be received from 10AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
