Obituary

Robert "Bob" L. Jennings, 62, of Lebanon, died suddenly Saturday, January 11, 2014.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Noble and Isabel Jennings, and was preceded in death by his brother, Tom Jennings, who was killed in the Vietnam War. This motivated Bob to become a Marine. A brilliant man, he was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Psychology. He loved to read and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

Bob played baseball and football for J.P. McCaskey High School, and was an avid Penn State and Philadelphia sports fan. He will be missed by his many friends.

He was a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War. Prior to joining the Marines, he was a "Kal's Angel". There are no surviving family members.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Charles F. Snyder, Jr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 1:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marine Corp League, Detachment 294, PO Box 227, Columbia, PA 17512.
